CA Work Experience Requirement

    Hello All!

I’m currently working in a small firm that has no CPA to review my work. However, we do have a tax firm that we work with. Does anyone know if I can have our 3rd party tax accountant to review (probably when we do end of year taxes) and sign off on my work experience requirement?

I’ve read similar topics in this forum and it looks like each state has different opinion on this. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with this in CA and how’d it go?

I doubt it, but California may be different. In my state your only other option is if you are an internal auditor, but even then it requires 4 years of experience and you need to pay the Board $1,000 (nonrefundable) to come and examine your work. But like I said earlier, its possible that CA has different rules.
