I flunked my first CA ethics test!. I’m confused with one of the questions and I can’t find the exact answer. I need to pick your brains! What if – the firm hired the son of a client and he will not be on the engagement team. Is the firm not independent? Or should it matter only if the son got promoted to manager? I know the answer if the scenario is it’s a partner’s son, but what if it’s a client? Help please, what you think? Thanks!
