Hi, Does anyone have any information about the CA ethics exam? I’ve read the information in the CA accountancy board brochure, but it doesn’t give a lot of information. I am interested in the difficulty of the exam and approximately how long it takes to prepare and take the ethics exam. Many thanks for any information!n

David – congratulations on passing all 4 parts! I called the CA State Board and ordered the PDF version of the CA ethics exam a few weeks ago and tried to take the exam before passing all 4 parts. The CA State Board site has some info and you can order it online and take the test online.

I've yet to take the exam as I found it to be time consuming trying to find the answers to the questions. There are about 300 pages of reading and what makes it time consuming is that the questions are not as straight forward as some people claimed and they are not in order by chapters. I used the search function using key words to try and find the answers (I downloaded the 50 questions to a Word doc to find the answers first) but still have a hard time getting the answers to some of the questions. The questions are like mini case studies. However, with your high scores maybe it will be a breeze for you! Overall, it's easier than taking the CPA exam 🙂
