CA CPA license renewal

    I received my cpa license in october 2013 and its up for renewal this march. On my initial license letter, it says i need to complete 0 hours of CE to renew my license in an active status. It means i dont need to complete CE for my license renewal?

    That seems unlikely. My first CA license was from May 15 – Nov 30 and I had to complete 20 hours to renew.

    I read in the licensing book that if it is less than 6 months after initial licensing you only have to pay them. If between 6 months and 2 years then you prorate it. I expect the same for me. If (fingers crossed) I get licensed this month, I will be up for renewal in April already due my birth year.

    I got my license in late October/early November 2013 and I had to renew it by the end of January 2014. I also got the letter saying that I needed to complete 0 CE. I only had to pay them and I got a letter this week saying that my license has been renewed through 2016.
