This is probably a really stupid question, but on the Application for CPA license on the DCA website for California, under Section I on pg. 3 of the pdf it asks for “CPA Exam Unique ID” and “Date CPA Exam Passed” for Type A applicants.
Do they just want my:
1. “CBA Unique Identifier #” and the date of my last section passed; or
2. “Exam ID number” for the last section passed and the date of my last section passed? <- this doesn’t make sense to me.. there are 4 sections, why do they only want the last Exam ID #?!I really don’t want to mess this up as CA is changing their Ethics requirements on Jan. 1, 2017 and one small mistake during the licensing process will require me to go back to school for an accounting ethics class… So a lot is riding on whether I get this right or not.
I’ve attached the URL of the CA CPA license application:
https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/applicants/cpaapp.pdfHonestly, the administrative side of applying for the CPA exams/license has been more brutal than actually studying for the exam. This whole process of applying for licensure is confusing. Sorry, just needed to vent. And somebody help! Please!
