    Hey Another71 Community,

I have recently passed all the CPA exam and would like some input on a resume builder website. Has anyone used any ? How much did you pay?

    Any information is appreciated

I don't recommend using any resume builder website. Search google for “resume templates” or even “accounting resume templates” and you'll find lots of free templates / information.

Tailor what you find accordingly and remember that your resume should be unique and speak to yourself.

If you give me a generic resume it's going to get grouped in with the rest of the generic resumes I get.

I've always used Optimal Resume. It was free through my college's career services, I'm not sure how much it costs usually. But it's a nice and easy way to make a resume with consistent formatting that is still tailored to you personally.

I don't think I would ever pay to have someone critique my resume. I think if you removed ALL your personal info and make an effort for FIRST resume template. Post it here. This forum will definitely help, I've seen it done many times.

In college, we had a professor with Big 4 experience as a recruited. He made sure to give us advice on what to include and what not to include and how to handle “tricky” items. A previous professor might be a good source that doesn't cost you anything.
