So here’s my dilemma…I just got a job at accounting firm as staff accountant and I’ll be working in both the tax and audit department. I failed FAR the first time by 10 points, but haven’t taken AUD yet. I am debating which one to take in November. My first thought is FAR because it is the hardest. But then I was thinking that because I have almost zero experience in Audit, perhaps studying and taking AUD would help me out a little bit in my job. It worked for REG. A lot of the stuff I studied has been a pretty big help and good refresher for me as a 1st year accountant. Or do you think that AUD wouldn’t help me out much because audit procedures are pretty subjective depending on your firms audit policies & procedures.
What are your thoughts? Any help is greatly appreciated.
AUD: 78
BEC: 81
FAR: 72 (TBD)
REG: TBD (2/14/14) <3
