Audit Hour Requirement

    I am pretty sure that the audit hour requirement is 500 for New Jersey… but not positive. Does anyone else know?

    My friends in PA have an 800 audit hour requirement but if they reach the 150 credit requirement, then the audit hours are reduced to 400.

    Didn't they change the rules saying that any accounting experience is good now, not only audit? I don't know.n

    I'm in PA – If you just have a Bachelor's…2 years public experience, of which 800 hours must be of audit. With a Master's (not the 150)…1 year public experience, of which 400 hours must be audit.n

    PA is a BXXXX isn't it. I wouldn't be able to be a CPA right now because I have 1 year of general accounting experience in taxes, estates etc….

    Its 1 year in NJ of any accounting experience it looks like. However you need a Master's in order to apply for the CPA…GMAT here we come…n
