I’ve seen numerous posts about needing at least a 90% on the ethics course to get certified. I didn’t see anything on the state board website that indicates this. It just says successful completion of an approved ethics course.

For the course I chose, a certificate of completion will print if I score 70% of above.

There's two AICPA ethics courses. From my understanding, one is for accountants who are already licensed as continuing education credits. A lower passing score is needed for this one.

The one for first time licensure (and likely the one you needed) needs a passing score of 90. On the webpage for the comprehensive ethics course, you will notice that you can select different ones to add to your cart. You needed to add the one specified for licensure.
