By that I mean things like getting certified in things like Microsoft Office or becoming a certified bookkeeper? I’m looking for jobs ranging anything from bookkeeper, AP/AR, jobs to staff accountant but I never land anything due to having no experience. I took a Quick Books class to meet the education requirements to sit but I don’t really feel comfortable saying I have experience with it since I was only using it for about a month (summer term). Same goes all the MO programs. I mean I know university classes use them extensively in one way or another but that’s different from actually working with them.
