Hey all,

Any Arizona CPAs/candidates out there? Sent off my application for my license and it got to the board March 30th. They are supposed to respond in writing within 30 days saying they have received my application and then it has to 1) go to the certification committee and 2)go to the board for final approval. So I’m hoping it can make it to the 4/30 cert committee meeting if they can process my application quick enough..I guess the AZ board is short handed and has been cross-training. Get this though-I asked why I haven’t received my congratulations letter when I had sat for and passed my last exam, AUD on 2/14…she looked at some memo or correspondence and it said for Jan (thinking Jan/Feb) final test takers the congratulations letter would come around the end of may (which is why you don’t have to wait for this letter to apply for your license). The letter contains a packet which includes a registration user name for the state board website in which you login and are able to log your CPE ect. I’m seriously ‘mirin the other CPAs in states where a license was issued within days of the submitted application.

Just sharing my experience thus far in case there are any AZ lurkers 
