I sat through the power point slides and I took the exam at the end of the course and ended up getting a 91%. Was that the actual exam or practice exam? If it was the actual exam, how do I download my certificate of completion? I am so confused. Thanks!

I don’t think they have ethics practice exam. It must have been a real exam. When I completed mine 6 months ago, I had to call to aicpa for them to email me a certificate and also to email one to state board of accountancy directly. Our state board doesn’t accept anything from candidates. Documents have to come from external sources directly to them.

    Hello,

I passed the CPA exam long time back. But received the License 4 months ago from state of NJ. I have to complete the NJ Laws & Ethics course within 6 month of License. There are several course providers with different pricetags and some require membership for discounted prices. Could someone enlighten Who is the best course provider and how to go about it. I have some free time this week and want to get this done before the end of the week. Please advise. Please help me with a quick response. Thanks a lot for your inputs.

Also is there any website link for practice ethics exam to get an idea.

I used NJCPA last year. I took the course in person. They also offer online and provide the certificate you attended via email. I thought it was a good course as I enjoyed the questions/answers my fellow classmates and I engaged in. You just have to make sure you attend the entire time – in person or online – or they will not sign off that you took the course.

Of note, there is no test. There is a quiz that we took and reviewed the answers in a group discussion. NJ doesn't currently require an exam for ethics. So it is not the same as other states where you are taking a test. It is a one day course. Hope that helps!

Okay. That is useful. But the NJCPA has varied pricing depending on the member or non member. Did you take the membership to avail the reduced pricing of $149 . others offer at $149 without any enrollment of membership.
