When filling out the Application for Issuance of CPA Certificate, should you mark yes to have been arrested even if your case was expunged? On the affidavit of applicant when applying to sit for an exam section, it says do not mark yes if it has been expunged. Please someone help!

expunged means you say no,,,i also have a record from like 12 years ago,,,i would think that if you were able to sit for the exam that it has already been determined that you can be licensed, no? They ask that during exam application as well. I have a certificate of relief for it though but i still have to say yes
