I have a feeling most people here are going to tell you that there is no set time, everyone is different and it's however long it takes you to learn the material and do enough multiple choice questions (or enough good ones) that you feel somewhat competent to get a 75.
However, to give you a sort of baseline measurement, here are the general recommended study times.
(all assumptions are at 20hrs/week of study time)
BEC 4 weeks
FAR 6-8 weeks
AUD 4 weeks
REG 5-6 weeks
You also kind of have to know yourself, if you're someone that usually picks something up the first go around you may need less time. If you're someone who needs more time for things to settle in you may need more. Also take into consideration 20 hrs/week is a LOT of study time for someone who is actually working, taking other classes, or else doing anything else but CPA studying…. so be realistic on how many hours a week you can actually dedicate.
Hope this helps somewhat.
p.s. all but REG are changing in 2011 so make sure that you have the right study materials 🙂 I don't know if you bought all 2011 materials or some 2010 some 2011… just make sure you have the right ones 😀
