I am looking to take an accounting ethics course online to fill my 4 credit requirement for California. I want to take a very easy online course that will not require much work on my part, as I have a lot going on in my life right now. Does anyone know of any easy online Accounting Ethics Course?

Your only option is either SMC or Foothill college in terms of online classes. Foothill college have online ethics course. As for easy, don't count on it.

is it just CA that has this requirement? I'm considering transferring to VA and was curious if other states (like VA) have this requirement? I went to school in VA and had many friends and coworkers pass the CPA but never heard of this ethics accounting class requirement until I started reading about it here as something CA requires. Wondering if someone has more info. Thanks!

@Paul Is there a reason why we can only take them at SMC or Foothill college? For instance, I see that Rio Hondo also offers the Accounting Ethics course online.

Anyone else who knows why, please let me know as well!
