After I left from my previous CPA firm, I passed all the CPA exam. I requested the partner to sign off my audit hours. He did write down all the hours (Audits 1,500+ and reviews 2,000+). However, on the top of the form, there are five questions about his opinions. He filled out “NOT Satisfy” to all the questions. I was an senior accountant in that CPA firm. At the time, I supervised 2 staffs and both of them got all the “Yes” on those questions. I think that he intentionally did that to me since i left from the firm. Do you think that those “NO” will influence me to get my license? If so, what should I do? In addition, does the State Board have any penalties for those employers? I think that it is not fair to employees.
