I am a tax accountant working in NY. I recently passed the 4 sections of CPA exam under the jurisdiction of NH. I want to apply the CPA in NY right now. Can anyone give me some instruction? I went to the NY website but is still confusing about my case. Is it easier to apply the CPA license in NH first and then in NY or in NY directly?

I'm almost in the same dilemna (3 of 4 parts, State of VA). Call 800-CPAEXAM for NASBA. They will suggest the best course of action. They suggested not to complete the remaining requirements and switch the exam credits to NY as a part of the application process.
