I am taking REG on 5/31. I took BEC on 4/24 and since then have completed all seven chapters in the Becker REG book, the Becker Final Review book, all MCQ’s in BOTH books, all supplemental questions, and all the simulations. Today, I redid the all MCQ’s for the entities and chapters 5-7. So that brings the total number of MCQ’s to 2,696 that I have completed at a minimum Lord knows that doesn’t count the one’s that I had to do over and over!!! Probably close to 3,000 by now, easy. This is crazy. I am crazy. Does anyone else still feel hopeless after studying this much? So I have tomorrow, Memorial Day, to once again lock myself in my house , focus on the tax part and get ready for Tuesday. Oh did I mention even more MCQ’s tomorrow???? Help!!

I'm also taking Reg on the 31st. Starting a few days ago, after already completing Becker and a Bisk book I started going through every single sim and MCQ. I finished the sims and I have about 200 questions left in R7. My cumulative average is an 87 which I'm sort of ok with. I'm still extremely nervous about simulations though, I don't feel prepared for them at all. I'm confident that I know all of the big tested areas, but there's always going to be something you don't know. With my countless hours of studying, and this being my first CPA test I honestly have no idea where I stand.

Good luck to you (and me while I'm at it), and don't kill yourself tomorrow. You don't want to burn yourself out before you even take the exam! I'm going to just review all the areas a bit and try to focus on my weaker sections. We'll see how it goes.

    REG: 85
    AUD: 74, 85
    FAR: 74 (sigh)
BEC: 80 (don't even ask me how)

When I say C-P you say 'Ayyyyy show me the money'

Having taken REG a month ago, I'd recommend that both of you try to get a good night's sleep tonight. It sounds like you're both well prepared. Time management can be an issue with REG, and it's hard to keep yourself 100% focused if you're tired. I didn't realize how important this was until I took BEC after 2 nights of poor sleep. It was my second easiest exam content wise, but my hardest as far as focus and keeping up my speed.

As far as the difficulty is concerned, just do your best. Some people have come out of REG saying that it was hard but every question was on their test material. In this case you're fine. Others have had questions that were poorly worded or on obscure topics. I was probably in the middle of these two. Yes, I'd studied most of the material on the exam, but there were a few questions out of nowhere and several with confusing or incomprehensible wording. Make an educated guess on these and move on.

Best of luck to both of you.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

Thanks yeah I'm worried about getting a good sleep. I had a difficult time falling asleep last night because I was very anxious, I can only imagine it will be even worse tonight.

pshustler, whats up bro. I did all the assigned Wiley questions. Yaeger recommends not doing all the problems as you will become confused trying to remember it all. But all in all I probably did about 3K problems in 3 weeks and SIMS. I don't really think there is a way to prepare for the SIMS but you may get lucky, who knows. I think you're going to do fantastic!!!
