    I am so burnt out from studying. Between work and studying and life in general (although I have cut out anything that resembles a social life) I am completely exhausted and burnt out. I know I absolutely need to study if I going to pass this beast (aka REG) I am just so exhausted when I get home from work.

    Anyone else feeling completely burnt out from studying on top of everything else?

    What do you guys do for a little extra energy/motivation to study?

    Training for a half marathon post studying!

    @AlmostThere22 and MustPass1988 – I think the only motivation I need is knowing I can pass a section (or three)!!!

    @MustPass1988 – 3 sections means “IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME!!!”

    @AlmostThere22 – 1 section means “IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME!!!”

    You got this.

    I feel like I'm doing OK studying but I really feel for my wife. I'm not helping around the house or with our son as much as I'd like. She is a trooper so I guess that's good motivation not to squander her help or these opportunities.

    @000ooo – I feel the same with my boyfriend (although it's only household duties, so he shouldn't really have any complaints). He's a very neat guy, so he's usually the one cleaning anyway, but I barely do anything now. And when I do take a break for 15 minutes or so, I feel like he's secretly thinking, “oh, great, she's on Facebook, while I'm here doing the dishes.” I'll make it up to him once I'm done with a nice gift or something 🙂

    You should bring home flowers for your wife one night, and say how much you appreciate her support. Sweep her off her feet 🙂

    In the words of Robin Hood (from the Russel Crowe version): “Rise and rise again until lambs become lions.” In order words, keep trying until you succeed.

    Don't know what it is, but feeling so burnt out. About to study on my last section/chapter for Govt & NFP and am feeling soooooo unenthusiastic about it.

    Anyone else feeling the same way? Sometimes I'm wonderin' what I'm gonna do cuz there ain't no cure for the summertime bluueeeessssss.

    @bobcat,

    I know I do not feel enthused…I am counting the days, biting my finger nails and trying not to scream. I am scheduled 7/7 and trying to stay positive about the mcq's. Hey keep pressing though, hopefully the end result is a pass. For summertime blues…take a break for a minute, sit on your porch or outside and listen to ninja notes unless you are crunched for time and scheduled to take the exam soon.

    This thread is pretty motivating. Look at all those people freaking out who subsequently passed.

    I feel the same way. Literally all I do is work, come home and study for like 4 hours with a quick dinner break and then study for 7-8 hours both days on the weekend. It sucks looking outside and knowing its 80 degrees and the sun is shining and I'm staring at a computer screen learning about variance analysis. But, then I think about how most people with reputable careers (medical field, real estate, law, financial advisor, etc) have to take some kind of horrendous test or go to school for way longer than I did so it just is what it is. I want to be a CPA so I'm willing to throw my summer away to get this thing done. Fall's my favorite season anyways 🙂
