About to follow through on my common threat of putting my foot through the monitor. Even after I have now reviewed F2 by reading the entirety of it AND writing notes, these godforsaken questions are still tripping me up! Talk about a chapter that was absolutely botched…

I think I’m about to just give it up for tonight and revisit this tomorrow..I’ve spent 10.5 hours studying today, so I don’t feel too bad about stopping. I’ve allotted myself 10 hours just to review F3 tomorrow, so I think I can afford to dip into it for the 2-3 hours it will take me to finish F2’s homework and sims all over again.

When tomorrow comes around, there will only be 8 days standing between my first section of the CPA exam and me…yikes.

As a side note, if I get hit heavy with foreign currency material on my exam, I will know it’s not my exam and I’ll have to retake it–that is the one area in ALL of FAR that no matter what I am convinced I will not get, especially in sim form.

Wow. F2 is literally the hardest Becker section of any exam I have studied for this far (Hopefully all I have left is BEC after FAR *crosses fingers*). Are you kidding me? I have never gotten so many questions wrong in a row! What an awful experience!!!! I am seriously on the verge of tears. I wanted to finish this section since I am getting MARRIED next Friday, but I am at a serious loss.

My confidence is WAY down and I am so so frustrated. I didn't feel like I even understood some of the questions, let alone what they are asking for. Wow, just wow.

I am doing the sims and supplemental questions :(:(:( sometime this weekend and then I am not thinking about it until I get back from my honeymoon. Did I mention I HATE REG?

you guys struggling thru this makes me feel better. I went thru the same thing and felt like a idiot! Glad to know I'm not alone! lol Currently going thru F8 hope to finish up within the next few days and start the final review. This will be my second time taking FAR. Guys make sure you know your JE! Simulations are harder and more time consuming than the MCQ on the real test. Becker simulations are way to easy compared to the real test.

honestly, i think Tim Gaerty is absolutely terrible at explaining f2. I wish Olinto had this lecture. Have you noticed how fast he goes when you go over examples? Also, he makes you highlight evvvvvverything. What is the point of highlighting a whole paragraph, especially in the lecture that has the most information? Anyone else agree?

I scored a 93 on FAR and F2 was without a doubt the most hellish chapter in Becker I encountered– My strategy was to SKIP F2 and finish the rest of the course and then come back to F2 at the end- That way you feel more confident in your grasp of FAR and then F2 can be practiced as much as practical without having the fear of the remaining chapters lurking in the back of your kind.

My advice, skip F2 and come back after the rest of the course

I hate hate HATE F2!!! The homework questions are ruining my life!! Everytime I think I grasp a concept, they throw a curve ball!! And YES I like Tim, he's quirky which makes me chuckle but SLOW DOWN and fully explain these examples for the LOVE OF GOD!!!!!! So infuriating!!!!
