I will say that if it weren't for the CRAMs for BEC and FAR, I would NOT have passed. I got the 69 with Becker only, and on test day, I felt unprepared, unconfident, and doomed for failure. When I was studying BEC Becker, by the time I was done with B-5, I couldn't answer very many questions. I felt like I was doomed to fail again. This website turned me on to Yeager, and I forked out the $$$ for their crams (all four), and it is the best money I ever spent.
Cindy passed me in BEC. I was so confused… she made it all make sense. When I went in to the exam, I was confident, and actually excited to take my seat and begin. The 77 I got is indicative of how they got me over the hump at the last minute. 10 hours (or was it 7?) of lecture, do the minimum questions they assign and you will rock it.
I used the FAR cram all alone for my FAR retake. I had a huge weakness in college about cash flows, and a few other subjects (I'm not going to list it all now)… but between Cindy and Phil, you couldn't fail me. Wasn't possible. I am probably the only person on this forum that when I walked out of the exam I KNEW I passed. I spent so much time getting my MCQ's right (which I KNEW they were all right with few exceptions) that I only had 50 min or so for BOTH SIM testlets. I quickly did written and one page of the sims… that's right, didn't finish, and the clock timed out on me… yet I still KNEW I passed. If I would have had another 20 minutes to do my sims… an 80 would have been a joke. Now… the caveat to all of this… I had a LOT of work to do on my own. But that FAR cram and BEC cram is the reason I have two passing grades. I didn't have enough time to do the AUD cram before I went in, so we'll see about that.
Yeager is a teaching course. Becker is a review course. If you just finished your Master's in Accounting last week, use Becker… otherwise, Yeager!
The ONLY reason I still use my Becker is because I paid SO DARN MUCH FOR IT.
