I just start watching lecturs for FAR and saw couple of lectures with Cindy. I feel that she goes over the material too fast, a lot of time I can’t keep up with her. I have to pause her lecture so many times that it take 1.5 hours for 1 hour lecture and I still feel that I didn’t write notes for everything she covered. I try to write everything since I have a really bad memory 🙁

Does anybody else feel that way?

Any suggestions/tips for FAR

Its a lot of stuff and really hard.

There's a lot of material to cover and the program is still 51 hours.

Just keep pausing and taking notes. I actually watched her teach FAR @ 1.3x speed, so it was even faster. I watched Phil @ 1.5 speed.

Sounds like you are doing the right thing. Don't move on until you understand the material. I am pretty sure that I've had a 1hr video take over 2hrs before. I agree it is frustrating, but I do think the ability to pause the instructor is a huge advantage over a live instructor.

how much does it cost to reorder yeager far 2011 if you had ordered 2010? I am getting conflicting information. They want to sell it to me for abt $295 which doesn't seem right. If that's the case I will stick with becker. I don't think it's worth.

What you are doing is correct. I have used Becker and Yaeger and pause both when needed to take notes. One other thing that helps me is when Cindy/Phil go over the multiple choice and simulatlion questions. I pause it and work the question myself before listening to their explanation of the answer. That way if I got it wrong I listen to them explain it and usually see where I went wrong. I feel this helps me better than just watching them work the problems.

I also agree that at times I speed up the lecture to get through it. They just sound like chipmunks thats all.

I used to use another review book but listening to Cindy, I guess she really good. Oh yeah she is super fast but the only way out is to pause her since we have control over her. 🙂 Just imagine u were in her live class for one hour…i wud have passed out. jokes apart….she is awesome and hats off to her.

Also did u see all the certification she has after her name. WOW! All the best guys!

I used Yaeger for FAR, trust me Cindy will definitely get you though FAR. She is the shiznit!

Hey Jeff, that's funny. I also used Yaeger and was able to watch Cindy's lectures at 1.2X, Phil at 1.4X, and the auditing guy(forget his name) at 2X!
