@yankee, based on your spectacular 82, I don't think you needed the red panties anyway! It's awesome the the Pomodoro Technique is getting some more publicity. I learned about it from word of mouth and was really excited to hear from other wonderful A71 posters that they were as successful with it as I have been.

Believe me, I fully understand the lack of focus with REG being your last beast to conquer. I had THE HARDEST time staying motivated to the point where I almost didn't care if I passed. But, at the end of the day, after the 5 year old in me was pacified with pizza, mac ‘n cheese, ice cream, or some other comfort food (20lbs later, I'm not friends with that brat), I sucked it up and hit the books (sometimes literally). Just try to keep focused on the fact that after just a few more weeks of torture, it'll all be over, and then you won't know what to do with yourself. Unless you're me. I have been swamped with work and have only recently regained my strength from the past few months and am on the road to lose my CPA weight. 4 lbs so far! 🙂

@KasiaS, That's exactly how I feel… I am starting to lose motivation. Then I will think to myself, I might have just three more weeks of studying..EVER.. then this will be done–and I won't know what to do with myself lol. I also live of mac & cheese for lunch because it's the quickest. This process is destroying my brain and my health!

@Peanut, I think the AICPA should automatically provide a personal trainer and nutritionist the moment a candidate passes their last section. I don't know when it happened, but I'm doughy pretty much all over and I hate it. It will be nice when I finally fit into my own clothes again.

Keep the motivation going and just keep feeding your inner child until you pass. It may not be the healthiest way, but it's certainly the best way to stay somewhat sane during the home stretch.

Not the least bit surprised—I write this as a proud peer of Yankee and Peanut. Keep it up! The finish line is within sight—are you going to jog the last stretch? Nope…you're going to sprint until the end—dig down deep, its going to take determination and the same work ethic the other 3 passing scores required. I am happy for you both, but we aint poppin champagne just yet….finish strong! I'll be here pulling for you, with a bottle of champagne waiting.

@Baked, thank you so much for the kind words! I had always followed your success through out the process. Thank you for having our backs as well through this. Means a lot!! Your post is a pick me up for today–I need to finish this strong! I might only be studying for 2 more weeks, EVER!
