    @ hopeful_cpa

    You should call them up to see what they say about the situation. If they want your $$ before they do anything, then it is not worthy. You should definitely get an explaination why all your grades are comparable to pass but not given a passing grade. Is there might be a system issue?

    I know you are pissed, I totally understand. But I agree with Peanut. I have been around this forum and Club 75 since August of 2010 (I know, don't get me started!!!) and I have seen my share of people being in your same predicament. It is really heartbreaking. But the gist of the story is that nobody ever gets the review to upturn a score, it is a useless, timewaster, from what I remember reading.

    I will try and find some posts on it for you….. https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/should-i-appeal-an-exam-score

    @ Yankee & Peanut,

    I can't wait to get over with my last CPA exam ever this year. Go Year of Dragon!

    @hopeful_cpa,

    Maybe you should focus on FAR exam this month. Time goes faster than we expect.

    @Yankee & @Peanut: CONGRATULATIONS! I'm soo happy for you two! I'm sorry I've been away lately, but apparently there is this unrelenting thing called “work” once the studies are over. I've been busier than ever. Nonetheless, I'm very proud and certain that this year you'll be joining the CPA ranks!!!

    @hopeful_cpa: I'm sorry about the 74 and it's absolutely ridiculous that you got a 74. Unbelievable. That said, definitely don't waste your money on an appeal. Even the AICPA has admitted that never in the 30 or so years has ANY appeal been successful. Use that money for a good drink then get back on the beast. We'll be cheering you on.

    Congratulations to you both!

    @ yankee, just wondering, why are you the only “leader” who hasn't put their score/times attempted in your signature line? It helps keeps us rookies motivated! 🙂

    @ peanut, I've wondered this for a few months now…is that really you with the big fro? Maybe I missed the story behind your pic on another post. Hahaha!

    Congratulations!!

    @hopeful_cpa, I just got a “postmaster@mail” email saying that my email to you was delayed?! I've never gotten something like that. Maybe that's why you can't remember getting it! Weird.. So you'll get it, just a little late I guess

    @Kasia

    Hey there!!! Glad to hear from you! Thanks for the post. I am relieved and soooo thankful I got past Audit. Now, if I can just get past REG and finish this thing. Sounds like work is crazy……but I hope life is treating you kindly! My sister (Chicago) has been utilizing the Chicago Job Network and has been going to various meetings. The last one she went to, she called me right away because the topic was “being more effective and productive”……….yep, they spoke about the Pomodoro Technique!!!!! A proven fact ! Thanks again for sharing that nugget. I don't follow it for a “T” with the lists, etc, but I pay attention 25 minutes of focused studying. I have to say with one more left, that “focus” is a lot tougher!!! BTW, I totally forgot my red panties last time. I came home and saw them on the bed. AAAHHH! I will be more careful this time with REG. 🙂

    @Cosmo,

    Congrats to you on FAR. Ouch! First reaction: not sure how to respond to your post. Basically, I don't show my scores or times in my sig line because I just didn't. I was going to say that I didn't have the balls, but then thought, I have been honest on the forum about how many times I have taken an exam and scores, so I guess I do have some balls 🙂 For the record:

    BEC: 74, 78

    FAR: 70, 68, 79

    AUD (UGH!!!) 68, 62, 74, 82

    REG: 70, 72

    Yikes, typing that out like that gives me a case of the coulda, woulda, shoulda. I started this journey in August 31 2010, and had no idea what I had really stepped into. It has had a broader effect on me than I had imagined. Good and bad. It is a test of resolve to the nth degree.

    Best of luck to you on your journey!!!

    @yankee, I didn't know you were almost there! I've been rooting for you for a while (even while I was still a lurker on this site). I just could never really keep track of where you were on the process that's why I was being so nosey about your scores. LOL! Thanks for being a good sport! 🙂

    You've motivated me alot by the way!

    Good luck to you! Woo hoo! Now I'm really cheering for ya!
