Hi All,

Does anyone out there have tips on how to effectively study for FAR using Yaeger CPA Review? I’m not sure how much I should be writing down. With REG I was able to pick out exactly what was need as major points and I took about 50 pages of notes for the section. I’m not getting the same feeling with FAR. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.s I also have NINJA and plan to use them, but I feel like I should have references directly from the instructors so I can see how they are attacking the material.

I took a lot of notes while studying for FAR . everything that the instructors said that wasn't in the book or the handout, I would write down. especially when they gave examples . it really helped to go over these notes in the week before the exam.

But that's the way how I learn , everyone is different.

I also listened to the lectures 2-3 times. There are a lot of subtle but important points that you tend to miss out while listening to the lectures first time around. Hope that helps.

How long did you study for? I will certainly try to pick out the points that aren't listed. I probably won't have time to listen to the lectures more than once. Thanks for your feedback.
