I’m starting to question if the review I got (CPAExcel) is right for me. I bought it basically due to price, but I’m starting to notice that their bite-sized lessons don’t work for me. I like to see the whole picture from the beginning. For example I’m doing pensions now and they divide it into like 8-9 lessons, so instead I went and read my Intermediate acg book. Has anyone experienced anything similar????

I understand how you feel, but maybe for a different reason? I bought Lambers review, which is one of the cheaper courses and honestly it great but after using the Wiley Test Bank which was $60 at 40% off I guess I just kind of have buyers remorse…

I'm almost certain I could have passed these exam without spending $1400 on Lambers… Especialy since the material is so fresh for me. I just graduated in December.

But then again, maybe I'm wrong? Guess, ill never know… =^_^=

    B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
    R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

You will always feel some buyers remorse with any review course. Especially if you fail a section by just a few points after spending hours studying.

I purchased my becker course just before they started giving people an 18 month license, and they refused to extend my license for my last FAR section so I had to repurchase it. I was so mad then, but now that I passed it doesn't really bother me.

I loved CPAexcel. The bite sized lessons worked perfectly for me. If I needed another view on something, I used my Wiley book. It's not that CPAexcel did a poor job with any topics, it's just that sometimes you need to read something in a different way in order to understand it.

I purchase CPAexcel after trying and failing with Roger CPA and Exam Matrix. Everyone has a different learning style and it's up to you to make sure that your learning style correlates with the review course that you end up purchasing.
