I used the Kaplan text for Aud, BEC, and Reg along with the Wiley test bank. I recently switched jobs and no longer have access to the Kaplan text for FAR. I have a weak accounting education so I really benefit from a detailed text and working problems. I really don’t learn well from watching lectures and listening to audio (my ADD kicks in and I zone out). I ordered the Wiley CPAexcel book because from what I’ve read about it I thought it was a very descriptive learning type book. I received it today and it looks like a 1200 page book of light overview and problems with very little reading. After doing some more research tonight it sounds like there may actually be 2 different CPAexcel textbooks? Mine says study guide on it but there is also an outline book? Does anybody have advice on what book I actually need to replace my Kaplan book to pass this last exam?
