I’m just curious if there is anyone out there who sort of rushed through the written communication and still ended up doing well. I felt like I did fine on the MCQs. Regrettably I didn’t spend as much time on the WC as I should have. I got something down that was coherent, but it wasn’t very long at all or detailed. The other portions of the sims were brutal, but semi-manageable. I appreciate any responses.

I have tried to take the approach that I want to do well enough on the MC and sims to not need any points on the written. I don't know why, but I've hated the written.

I know that the written communication is based on more than just content (though content is very important). I know for a fact that I bombed at least two of the six tabs (and I really do mean bombed) on my simulations. However, I felt that I wrote really strong essays for the communication.

So, it is possible to still pass if you bomb the majority of the simulation. MCs are the bread-and-butter of the exam. You get nearly 70 percent of your grade from MCs. You would only need 5 – 10 percent of your total grade to come from the simulations if you did well on the MCs; that anywhere from roughly 15 to 30 percent of the simulation material.

Hopefully that helps you feel more confident about your overall score.

I hope you're right because I had like four lines for my last communication sim. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I don't think I'll be able to open my score!

    praying for favor.............
