I cannot afford to purchase a review course out right. I learn best by doing so MCQ are a most have for me. During my graduate class, we actually used Wiley CPA review for the AUD to study from. I see that I can get the 2014 edition off Amazon for like $40 dollars and I’ll purchase Ninja MCQ’s for the hands on learning experience. If I purchased the 2014 edition but don’t plan on taking the FAR until January 2015, I plan on studying starting Monday of next week 10/13/2015 and yes I will need that much time to study since I’ve been out of school for 2 years and my only accounting experience is taxation, would the material I’m learning be not effective because the CPA is updated each year?

The updates aren't reflected on the exam until July each year so you're good for the first 2 quarters to test with this year's material.
