Hi all,
I passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam, with my last section wrapping up in November (received results in January). Anyway, I have some questions about the work experience requirement in Wisconsin, and I definitely need them answered before I can proceed with the license application, ethics test, etc. I called the state office over two weeks ago on a Friday, and I had no choice but to leave a message for the worker who handles CPA exam experience requirements. The message machine said to leave a detailed message, and I did. Nobody called back. So, the next Friday, I called, and I had no choice but to leave a message again on the same person’s voice mail. I explained the whole thing all over again and requested a call back. Nobody called back. Tomorrow will be the third Friday that I’ll be making a call about this.
I am so frustrated! What kind of organization fails to respond to phone calls for weeks? I need to speak with a real person who understands this process and who can answer my questions.
Does anyone have suggestions? I know I’m calling the right person, because I spoke with the operator a number of times, giving detailed information, and she transferred me to the extension.
Thanks,
Jan
