I am having such a hard time focusing right now. One exam left, finish line in sight, and I can’t bring myself to get this done. Does CPA exam senioritis exist?

I'm feeling the same way!! It was so much easier to study for my first exam than this last one. How do we get back our mojo?

I've got FAR scheduled for May 29th too. @Jomarie-how are you studying for your retake? I'm also retaking. I haven't been going through the lectures, mainly because I just want to fall asleep when watching the videos. I've been writing down the final review notes and then doing the multiple choice questions in Becker. I'm almost done with F2.

I'm going through the whole NINJA process. I'm still on chapter one of the lectures. Originally I wasn't going to do that. I was going to rewrite the NINJA notes and do insane MCQs. I was hoping to get a clearer understanding of everything by rewatching the lectures. This weekend it going to be a little tough with Easter, plus I think I'm coming down with something. Ugh!!! I think I need to sit down and write out a study plan like I did for BEC.

I'm convinced that CPA Senioritis exists – in fact, I have a feeling I may have started a thread a while ago about that. I had the same thing happen to me. REG was my last exam and I was awful when it came to motivation. It's like the 5 year old inside me finally woke up and didn't want to play anymore – I was burned out, tired, stressed, and my nerves were on edge. It took a lot of pizza, ice cream, and mac n' cheese to pacify the whiny child in me and buck up. I don't recommend taking that route because I got fat and I'm still striggling to take it all off!

Just keep telling yourself that you have X number of days/weeks left and focus on the fact that THERE IS AN END! Keep your eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel and it'll be over before you know it – even though it doesn't feel that way.
