I'm taking FAR Saturday. This is my first attempt at any of the exams. I'm freaking out because I really thought I understood most of the material…and then Gleim MCQ's tell me otherwise. I've only done 300 or so Gleim MCQ's, but can't seem to get above 75% in 20 question random study sessions.

I will be continuing to do as many MCQ's as possible today and tomorrow and hope for the best on Saturday.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence and Wiley Test Bank

I took it today. It was not what I was expecting at all. I'm using the Wiley books and Wiley test bank (which worked for REG… but apparently not for this), but when I got to the exam the multiple choice topics were all over things that the test bank barely even covered (and I've done over 1,800 multiple choice questions at this point). Oh well… and those sims *ugh* I definitely got the research one, possible 2 others, and completely guessed on the last four. Good luck!

After reading your post, I am glad I pushed it back! I was going to take it Friday, but it was too much material for me to grasp.. This is my second time on stuff, and I did bad on some certain MCQ's, and great on others.. TOO MUCH MATERIAL!

Im not sure when in this window I will take it.. Maybe when I do the MCQ's & read for the 3rd or 4th time..

October 15th @ 1:30PM.

It's starting to feel like I've seen every MCQ that WIley is spitting out, so I'm not sure what to do next. I'll probably do a few more practice exams just to fine tune my time management, but the rest of my time will be spent on understanding concepts and journal entries.

The only thing that I continue to struggle with are the Research Sims. How did you guys prepare for those?
