Where do I start after failing?

    Hi everyone!

I posted on here about a month ago asking for some advice regarding whether I should take the test if I don’t feel ready or wait until the next testing window. Well thanks to a ton of great advice, I decided to “wing it” because I wasn’t strapped on cash and thought I would be giving myself a lot more time than I actually needed if I waited until October. When I took the test on September 7, there was a lot of stuff that I clearly knew and other items that I clearly did not know.

After receiving my test score of a 72, I am wondering what I should really focus on. Should I focus on the entire book from the start and restudy everything 100% or should I briefly touch on all items and really focus on the items that I did not know on the test? I am just trying to find the most effective way to restudy.

    Thank you guys!

what study materials do you use? I would get Ninja or reset your stats if you already used and do sweep of MCQ by topic to see where your weak points are…If you are honest with yourself, you probably know which areas are your weaknesses to have caused a 72….

It's important to remember a 72 isn't 3 points away from passing, meaning you only need to do enough to recoup 3 points. A 72 is, in essence, a zero. Your next attempt will be completely different. Many people here have brushed up on the topics they struggled with and forgot to give attention to the areas they “know”, only to fail again.

If it were me, I would study everything again as if you're starting fresh. Then when you get to the MCQ part of your studies, as anyatver stated, give special attention to your weaker areas. Nonetheless, continue to hammer all sections.

Just because you know a particular section well, doesn't mean you won't get a question that will throw you for a spin.
