I know that they’re kind of on a tiered release depending on when you take the exam throughout the testing window, so I’m wondering when I’ll hear back.

I’m taking the exam on January 7th, 2013. This is obviously the first week of the testing window, so I expect to be waiting for a while. Does anyone know a rough estimate of how long that actually may be? A ballpark number of weeks would help. Is there a preliminary report or something that tells you when the scores will be released? I’ve had friends take the exam this past summer and they knew exactly what day to check for their score. I didn’t really think to ask how they knew back then, so any info now would help.

You'll probably be waiting about 3 weeks for your score.

You can follow the guidelines for the score release dates for the windows this year. Generally, it's the same every quarter.

BEC - 80
AUD - 85
FAR - 76
REG - 75

I predict the scores will be released 2/1. That is estimating the 10th business day after close of the test wave (days 1-20) and maybe a day early… 3/31?
