I’ve taken FAR once & did not pass. What really messed me up the most was that around 40% of the MCQ’s and about 50% of the Sims were questions that were not similar to the questions I practiced with using Wiley Test Bank and Wiley Textbook.

Now I know about 20% of the real exam is pre-test questions, but I still had a lot of questions that just seemed unfamiliar to me, not unfamiliar in the topic or concept the question covered, but in the WAY the question was asked. The Wiley Test Bank questions were much easier to understand and answer than the real exam by a lot. Anyone else agree?

I agree. I think REG is worse. That's why this exam is so hard….

I thought FAR was the only exam that had very little to do with what I practiced with Wiley.

If you ask me, I'd say that the pretest questions were more than 20%. There was some weird stuff never seen in my books. And it wasn't so much about the wording.

Totally agree with you! I just took FAR on Thursday and Wiley didn't even have practice SIMS for the tasked based simulations I took on the test- talk about unprepared!! It blew me away, litterally. I only pray that I passed that exam…

    FAR 61, 82! ( 11/9/12)
    AUD 67, (4/19/13) WAITING!!
