    I noticed that there are some interesting usernames in this site. Some of you may have kept it simple and there’s some of us who are quite creative. Thought I start a thread on this as it would be interesting to read the story behind the names. I will start first.

    My username “supervisor” means only one thing…I need my CPA to get promoted to SUPERVISOR. I know, that wasn’t so creative.

    Mine is in reference to an old Wu-Tang Clan song, but was shortened (and spelled incorrectly) so I could use it for my Xbox gamertag.

    Mine is a nickname my sister gave me in elementary school. I wanted a new nickname for Nicole, other than Nikki since there were 5 Nicoles in my class. And 8/22 is my birthday. It's pretty much my generic nickname ever since.

    In my former life/undergrad days, I was in a touring (kinda) metalcore band. SN is a song/release date by one of my favorite bands at the time. Used it various things since that time…just felt right in relation to the CPA exam as well.

    Who said accountants are boring!?

    I came up with MintsRGood in the 6th grade for my AOL screen name. While AOL has come and gone, MintsRGood has been a favorite handle of mine ever since! I'm also obsessed with Jr. Mints and basically any chocolate/mint candy combo…very deep, I know! 😉

    My grandfather gave me the name Kricket when I was just a couple of hours old. He said I was “bigger than a cricket so I'd be just fine.” The nurses in the hospital finally named me when I was 3 weeks old.

    Mine's pretty obvious – the main focus of most of my life has been my five sons. I spent 19 years homeschooling them and went back to school myself after my last son entered high school.

    This is a fun thread!

    I'm a Wisconsin native (Badger State) and lived there until about 8 months ago, earned both my Bachelor's and Master's at the University of Wisconsin, and have traveled all over the state. I've got pretty deep Badger roots 🙂

    Moved to IL for my career and significant other, but I can't wait for the day I get to move back home.
