Whats a good amount of days for review before FAR?

I know its probably subjective but I booked FAR a bit ahead, and my study planner has me with 19 days of review…

I am pretty ahead, just finished F3 today. So I’m moving onto F4 by tomorrow or Thursday and my exam is scheduled for another ~9 weeks.

The Becker study planners puts F9 & F10 for one week, so I may give each of those a whole week. I feel like 20 days of review may be overkill?

At least a week. Try not to stretch it pass two weeks – this way you can keep the final review info fresh on your mind. Remember the final review is basically a refresher for what you should already know.

    FAR 83
    AUD 87
    REG 82
    BEC score pending

I'd set aside at least a week for a review too. I'm studying for FAR as well, on the first section of F4. When you look at it for the first time, how much do you memorize? I feel like I'm not retaining much.

@Elaine I retained a good amount of the concepts, but some of the MCQ and concepts trip me up. Ive been studying constantly so I actually went through F1 & F2 completely twice. Watched lectures, MCQ, re-read/took notes, MCQ, sims then moved on.

Ah I see… F2 took me a while to grasp and I know I have to go back to master it. How many hours are you putting in a week?

I quit my part time job and grad school hasnt begun yet so I am putting in 40-45 a week. I will probably only get to do 20-25 once school starts unless the workload isn't as tough as im thinking it will be.

9 weeks is a lot if you aren't working at the same time. If you are studying full-time 5 weeks is more than enough IMO.

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed

I have 5 grad courses but thats about it starting next week. I may move it forward a week or two if im still really ahead.

So for a person with a full time job is 9 weeks the recommended amount of study time? If I start studying this weekend, when should I plan to take FAR? Where is the best place to find a good study plan for a self studier?
