So I took FAR (my first section) today in VA and well it was, I don’t know… I didn’t really sleep last night, couldn’t stop thinking about my exam and couldn’t eat breakfast either. So I showed up at the center exhausted and very stressed.
The exam:
1st MC testlet: easy, 28 mins, maybe guessed on 5 questions tops
2nd MC testlet: easy, 30 mins, maybe guessed on 5 questions tops
3rd MC testlet: easy, 30 mins, maybe guessed on 5 questions max, at this point I was like wth, I’m sure I did ok on the second, why isn’t it getting harder?
So I had 2.5 hours left for the simulations.
1st simulation: knew the topic pretty well, maybe one of the tabs I was not so sure. Since I had so much time, I didn’t start with the comm, did it last. Prolly wrote a full page on the comm, and had 1 hour 15 mins left for the second sim so I took a bathroom & water break.
2nd sim: 1 hour left. Ok 2 of the 5 tabs i wasn’t even sure what they wanted. It was a spreadsheet and i was confused if they wanted me to adjust the balances or write the correct balances. Anyway, second tab sucked. I wrote a good comm so I hope that helps.
Here’s my QUESTION: a tab in the second sim had a lot of JE, and I didn’t complete them in any particular order. I would start with credits, then debits, then go to the next credit. Anyway I hope that is not an automatic incorrect response just because I didn’t align them the “perfect” way.
So at this point I don’t know what to think. I feel that it is more likely than not that I passed but with the complex grading, who knows? Any ideas? This is my first section so i might be delusional….
