What shall i do ! ?

    So … i did pass AUD and FAR 😀 > YES ! I hope we all do in the end … good luck all …

    the question is : I had an interview 2 weeks ago … i have not heard back from them … i’m not sure if they made a decision or not ! but they have not informed me … it was an on campus interview … i did send a thank you letter in the same day and mentioned the following in the end ” Hoping to update you about my CPA examination results in our next meeting”.

    Shall i email them with the results … if yes, shall i include the scores or just a pass on these two?

    and one more thing, what happens next ? do they mail you the results or do they e-mail you ? how do u know for sure that its your score ! i still have serious doubts about the AUD lol !

    Simple answer, no. You haven't been offered anything so they don't need to know. The only call you should make would be checking in on the selection process. They only care when you pass ALL the exams.

    And it depends what state you live in, but yes your State Accounting Board will either e-mail or mail you a score report.

    I personally wouldn't if you haven't heard back from them yet. I agree that you can check in on the selection process though.

    Congrats on passsing 2 parts, (2 down, 2 to go!!!)

    I agree with Aserdy87. I would say No to you updating them on your CPA exam status. I would say YES to you following up on the status of the job though. Did they give you a timeframe in which they would let you know something about the position? So in essence, No to CPA updates and YES to following up on status of job.

    I agree with all the other posters. They don't care that you passed any single parts till they are all done. Call to check on the status for the position tho, it doesn't sound good if you heard nothing in two weeks tho

    Thanks everybody for the reply !!! I just read all the replies, 🙁 I was writing a letter to the big four recruiter that called me 2 weeks ago as well (other than the interview) … and she told me to stay in touch … and that she'll contact me in January … 🙁 even if it is a 3 or 4 sentence letter .. i think i had 42 drafts for it !!! lol ! Thanks for your advice ! I'm still gonna be hopeful … and cross my fingers for a Job next fall or summer …

    It feels like its gonna be weird to call them back to ask about the status of the position, they never replied to the thank you letter i sent them either ! i guess it does not sound good after all … I dont care … when i get that cpa … some1 will hire me ! 😛 .

    they never really specified a time frame for a reply, they asked me if there is a time frame that they should reply to me in case i'm interviewing with other firms … but i didnt ask – i thought that i would look more interested than i should !

    Move on and look for another position. They are not interested in you.
