    Where I stand:

Passed Reg, just took AUD on saturday ( I am very confident I did well). FAR and BEC must both be taken before May 31.

I’ve attempted FAR and came up very short last fall (61), but have a good bit of motivation after (at least “feeling” like I) knocked AUD out of the park. Do i dive back into FAR feet first, or go for the somewhat easier BEC hoping to keep the motivation rolling.

I am legitimately concerned that if I failed FAR I would be emotionally check out to have a reasonable chance with a short window on BEC.

Wife is due June 30 so I want these 2 to be my last tests, but if there is 1 left to deal with in the fall, then so be it.

    Thoughts?

Other facts: I’ve paid for 3 tests (including the AUD i just took), and they expire May 31, so i’m taking both no matter what…just curious of the order to attack.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

BEC is not easier. Both times I have passed it (once in 2010 and once this year) it took me twice. It may be shorter but definitely not so much easier in my experience. All these exams need to be addressed in the same manner, with complete and total aggression, and never underestimate them! If you have recently studied for FAR, I would say tackle that one first since it is more “fresh” in your head as opposed to BEC which will be completely new to you.

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

No problem. I have taken these exams way more than I would have liked and the only reason I have failed has been due to time management. The only way to pass these is to put in the time. End of story. I am 1/2 way there just like [hopefully] you…let's finish this thing before beach time is over so we can fully enjoy the summer!! 🙂
