AnonymousInactiveI would love to hear what everyone’s final two week review period looks like, I’m working on my plan now and would love some suggestions if you wouldn’t mind sharing? π

M.O.D.MemberSure. Currently I am doing essays/SIMs repeatedly. I found some 40 (lucky me!) and each takes 1/2 hour. I want to do each one at least twice. Currently I am up to 8 per day. I write about 3000 words per day, almost as much as T.Kitty posts on A71 π
It is exhausting so I take a break by studying for my graduate finance class in between.
I grade myself on each essay and the poor ones I will likely redo.
Than I take a weekly simulated complete exam with MCQs and essays. Of course I check all the wrong answers and rework them. Some here say don't take simulated exams but do MCQs instead. I found that the simulated exam is completely comprised of MCQs, so I don't understand what they are talking about.
Then I made 26 pages of notes which I mostly memorized. I will review these in the final 2 days with applicable MCQs and/ or essays for reinforcement, as necessary.

Study MonkMemberI didn't change my routine much. Just knock out as many questions as possible and try to read over the main concepts in your book and/or notes. The main thing is to get exposure to all of the topics so they are fresh in your mind by exam day. If you have any noticeable weaknesses you should spend the majority of your time on those areas.
I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

tough_kittyMemberWow, I didn't realize it was a competition or something. Fortunately for me, I mastered my grammar and spelling in college so I don't need to practice writing essays. So, with all this excess time I have on my hands, I figured I can help others whenever I can.

tough_kittyMemberOP: To be honest, I wasn't sure how to plan my final week before the exam either. In fact, I adjusted my final review for each exam based on different factors.
For FAR I'd go through all my notes and then go back to MCQs for topics which I struggled the most with or/and the topics which are most heavily tested – judged by the number of MCQ in the Wiley TB. And I'd also browse the Becker textbook and read all the pass key sections to make sure I know the most important things. Also, I'd practice journal entries by writing them down from memory on a piece of paper.

AnonymousInactiveThanks guys and gals, I'm wrapping up my Becker stuff and of course I'm behind and I haven't done a progress test in a while and I'm starting to stress about how I will remember all of this crap. LoL
This forum at least makes me feel like I'm not the only one sitting for hours at my desk wondering why the heck I'm doing this to myself lol
