What is the default method for capitalized interest questions?

    I posted this in FAR study group but then realized this was here…oops sorry for the duplicate

    Anyway, I’m reviewing a question for capitalized interest for construction projects and am wondering:

    What is the default method (specific or weighted average) for capitalizing interest on a construction project with multiple funding sources?

    If the question doesn’t specify, should the specific method be the default?
