what is meaning of contingent revenue

    I’ve just found the term contingent revenue. it’s from the definition of milestone method of revenue recognition.

    I do know contingent liability… is contingent revenue sort of the same thing ???…

    It is the amount of money your wife gives you which is contingent upon you paying the bills (Mortgage, Car, Insurance, etc.) even though it is your paycheck : )
