    Hey guys,

I just got the “candidate advisory score” of california board for FAR….but i believe the real score and advisory score can be different?? I got 76….which is JJJuuuussttt crossing the line….is there a possibility that i will get a 74 as a final score? i’m still not happy…actually more scared now thinking the final score may be different…..does anyone have any idea? And my status has not earned credit for FAR yet….it just says CBT Exam score received from NASBA….but it still says FAR “Advisory” score…what does THAT mean?

    Please reply!!

    Thanks!

    Dharana

The Advisory score is a way for the CA BOA to let you know what your score is before they post the official score so you have time to reschedule, if necessary. The Advisory score is your final score. You will be able to view your official score report anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending. Congratulations!

I have taken 8 exams, in CA, and my advisory score was always my final score. I have not heard from anyone saying that their advisory score was different. Go out, celebrate, tell your friends and family.
