The hardest topics with Becker were not necessarily the most tested topics. There were chapters I struggled with and finally understood only to get two or so questions on it. Leases and bonds are an absolute must, and governmental and not-for-profit had a lot of questions that I had not really prepared to see despite devoting a lot of time to both subjects.

I think its pretty individual.

Currency translation and remeasurement SUCKS HARD for me. I've heard other people mention deferred taxes (relatively easy for me) and dollar value LIFO (a work in progress). I think I finally have governmental crap down but that was a sticky one for me too.

I would say if I were to rank my top five (albeit this is subjective):

1) Nonprofits (though that is just because I'd never seen nonprofit accounting before)

2) Interco Transactions for Consolidated Entities

3) Stockholder's Equity (esp. the different Treasury Stock methods)

4) Bonds (Though strangely enough I had no trouble with leases)

5) All the Revenue Recognition areas
