What a slap in the face.

Trying to knock out all 4 tests in a month and a half seemed like quite an endeavor until I started getting scores back – really good, high, brag-able scores.

    Until REG.

A 74 on my last test. A one point difference that will, greatly, lower a signing bonus and will start putting me into a tough financial situation since I haven’t had a job for the last several months.

AND, OF COURSE, REG WAS THE ONE TEST THAT I FELT ABSOLUTELY, COMPLETELY CONFIDENT ABOUT.

    God damn 74.

Now you feel my pain, I assumed you scored weaker on the sims?

I wouldn't call it a slap in the face, you pushed yourself to the limit and accomplished more than most candidates based on the amount of time you gave yourself.

DAMNNNN, a month and a half is amazing for 3 exams regardless of the 74!!!

    *New York*
    AUD 74, 88! 04/02/12
    BEC 75! 08/30/12
    FAR 68, 73, 83! 10/27/12
    REG 80! 11/24/12

    DONE!!!

Dude, you don't know what a slap in the face is.

One thing is to be a high achiever, a different thing is be an overachiever. You're definitely leaning towards the latter.

Everyone's “slap in the face” is relative. I would feel crappy too if I missed my final exam by one point. Some people take many tries to pass the exam, that doesn't mean we all do.

Advice to the OP, take a few days break, regroup and begin again. There's nothing you can do about the collateral damage of your 74, so just restudy for a 99 and try to figure out why you felt confident when you shouldn't have. Good luck to you.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂
