i was wondering if there was a correlation between one’s weakest area in school during their accounting studies compared to their hardest section on the cpa?

for me, im studying for FAR right now and its a pain and i also was weakest in my financial accounting courses as opposed to tax or audit classes.

I hated cost accounting and hoped I would never have to see it again after that class. Hopefully I can get the hang of these overhead variances before my next test because I have never been so frustrated with CPA exam material before 🙁 haha.

I would think there is a correlation.

I struggled with tax on undergrad, and so far hate studying for REG. Undergrad did help though, studying for REG im catching on to things quicker since it's my second time seeing them, but still doesn't make it any more enjoyable lol

Illeon, wow youre almost finished with your exams, im still studying for my first section lol

And I forgot most of the stuff from undergrad especially financial accounting

My weakest section by far is AUD and the only B I every received in college was in Auditing 🙁
