    Hello all,

Last year I gave the FAR exam and failed, but want to try again, if I want to give this exam within a month and a half then how long do I need to study each day? Please suggest. Thanks.

Personally, I would put in about 15 hours a week

Get a good plan and stick with it.

    It begins with a 75

i disagree. With only 6 weeks of study, I would be putting in a minimum of 20 hours a week.

    ONLY 6 WEEKS?!!! for FAR

I seriously question your commitment to the CPA exam. People on this board are here for the long haul and trying to give it their all. FAR has a lot of material to cover and i highly doubt 6 weeks is enough especially if it's been a year since you have taken it.

6 weeks for FAR is fine, I think, but I think it requires 25-30+ hours of studying per week. It's basically what I ended up doing for FARscore pending, of course.

Add a little bit more if you're unfamiliar with basic financial reporting concepts. There were a lot of sections that were easy for me because they were still somewhat fresh from learning them in college.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

You won't be able to test until July since June is a blackout month, and that technically gives you closer to 7-8 weeks, which is doable. You probably need to allocate about 20-25 hours a week– less if you are still familiar with the topics, and more if it's been a while and need more review and practice.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
