I would like to take a vacation to the mountains.

Well it wasn't a vacation, we went to the Mountains of NC and VA to bury my Mom. But there certainly is something AWESOME about the mountains.

Coming back from VA to GA on Saturday, we sat in hours of traffic through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, which put us into the mountains just before dusk. We arrived on the pinacle of the mountain just in time to catch one of the most beautful sunsets I've ever seen. A few minutes later we pulled off the road as the sun sank behind the mountains, leaving nothing but a blue, grey and purple span of mountains with the dusty fog coming up from the mountains from horizon to horizon. The weather was perfect…..just missing my lovely Mom with us.

We enjoyed it tremendously, except for the obvious. When I am done with this beast of an exam, I am going to take the family on a beach and a mountain vacation.
