Hello. I was hoping someone could shed some light on a question I had. I plan on taking the FAR test in early January, 2012. I have the 2011 Wiley materials and the 2011 Yaeger dvds. I’m guessing there won’t be any 2012 materials available at such an early date, and was wondering what people do in my situation. Do they just use the 2011 materials and hope there aren’t many changes? Are there any other options besides waiting until updated study materials come out?

I don't know about Wiley and Yaeger, but the new Becker books came out in late November last year.

I am in the same exact situation. I called up Yaeger and they said that if u take the exam in January 2012 you study the material from 2011.

Does this hold true for any exam in the first testing window? I am planning on taking REG end of February. I would imagine REG changes the most year to year, so will my 2011 Wiley/Yeager materials be ok? I bought all the study materials at once thinking I'd finish the exam this year. That was wishful thinking…
